The mission of Big Stuff Academy is to provide a basketball environment focused on personal and athletic development. The fundamentals of good basketball are the fundamentals of character – passion, discipline, focus, selflessness, and responsibility. Our coaching staff is committed to imparting these core values through our instructional camps and competitive teams. Big Stuff Academy is for every child and parent who believes in these values and has a passion for excellence.

Big Stuff Academy is a non-profit organization. Our status allows sponsors and donors to utilize all donations towards a tax credit.

Ø	Drafted by San Antonio Spurs in ‘85
Ø	Played 11 years profession in NBA & Europe
Ø	Coached the Turkish National Team in the European & World Championships in ’00 – ’02
Ø	Coached the past 6 years with Dallas Mavericks & the Memphis Grizzlies
Ø	Worked for the Milwaukee Bucks as their College & European Scout.
Ø	Coached Dominican Republic National basketball team Summer 2007 FIBA Nationals
Ø	Currently General Manager and Head Coach NBA-DL Bakersfield Jam

If your child loves basketball, enjoys competition and has a desire to improve his/her basketball skills, Big Stuff Academy is for you. Our program is designed to attract the top youth athletes in Arizona.

We currently have girls and boys teams playing in the CABO and YMCA leagues.

Big Stuff Academy has competitive girl’s and boy’s teams playing in AAU tournaments. Also, do not miss the Big Stuff Academy Basketball Camps for boys and girls entering 4th through 12th grades.
